Kika Live (Germany)

KiKA live is a German television channel created on January 1, 1997, by ARD and ZDF for children and teenagers. The channel is operated by two German public broadcasters: ARD and ZDF.

KiKA is the abbreviation of "Kinder" ("children") and "Kanal" ("channel"). KiKA is a public channel comparable to Russia's Karusel and Belgium's Ketnet. Its main competitor is Super RTL. A production of KiKA is for example, Schloss Einstein.
