TV 2 Live (Norway)

TV 2 live is Norway's largest commercial television channel. In 1990, the Norwegian parliament decided to allow an advertising-financed television channel. The channel TV 2 direkte received a broadcasting license in 1991 and started operations in 1992. The channel has its headquarters in Bergen, and the CEO, and editor-in-chief is Alf Hildrum.

The station is a member of the European Broadcasting Union. In addition to the company management, the news, Sports, and foreign affairs editorial offices are located at the company headquarters. TV 2 has editorial offices in Oslo, Tromsø, Bodø, Trondheim, Ålesund, Stavanger, Kristiansand, and Hamar.
