cdn 37 logoCDN Canal 37 is a Dominican free-to-air news television channel, founded in 1996, broadcasting on channel 37 of the UHF band.

CDN was founded on January 1, 1996 by Banco Popular Dominicano, broadcasting on UHF channel 37. It produces news, special coverage and sports content. In 1999, CDN expanded by adding more reporters and broadcasts.

In 2005, CDN news and sports was included in the Caribbean Multimedia group led by Manuel Estrella and Félix García.

Another channel, CDN2, was launched in 2008. It contained alternative programs for all ages, and in 2014 it became the only Dominican television channel specialized in sports coverage under the name of CDN SportsMax.

In 2013, CDN was relaunched in partnership with Provider SA, led by journalist Nuria Piera, to investigate high-level national and international issues. Piera has presented the Nuria: Investigative Journalism program at CDN for 29 years. They formed NCDN, a new format that offers a different perspective on the production and content of programming.

In 2015, Spanish news anchor Pere Pont worked there as an international news editor. In 2018, Nuria Piera left the channel company to Alba Nelys Familia.
