Channel 5 Live Stream (UK)

Channel 5 is a television channel launched in 1997 as Channel 5. It was the fifth analogue station with national coverage in the United Kingdom. She began producing mostly low-cost programs, which mostly consisted of pornographic and low-cost television shows. However, since its image change and the name change from "Channel 5" to "five" in 2002, it has steadily gained market share. This is based on the more purchases of reality shows and more expensive drama shows from the United States. In 2011 the name changed back to Channel 5.

Channel 5 is part of Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited which since 2014 is 100% owned by Viacom International Media Networks. Between 2005 and 2011 it was owned by RTL Group. On 25 July 2010, it was announced that RTL has sold the Channel Five to Richard Desmond, owner of Northern & Shell, for a sum of 125 million euros, as of 1 May 2014, the channel has been sold to Viacom International Media Networks.

In 2006, Five launched two additional digital channels: Five Life (later known as 5* and now as 5Star), which focuses primarily on young women, and Five us (now known as 5 USA), which, in addition to American hit series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Prison Break, also broadcasts its own productions themed around the United States.
