Italia 1 Live Stream (Italy)

Italia 1 is a private Italian television channel from Berlusconi's channel group Mediaset. After Canale 5 and Rete 4 removed animated series from their programming a few years ago, Italia 1 is the only free TV channel from Mediaset that still broadcasts animated series. The channel specializes mainly in US series, anime, broadcasts and music broadcasts. Animes are now being broadcast on Italia 2.

Italia 1 can also be received in Germany via the Hotbird satellite. Italia 1 was still broadcasting unencrypted until 7 September 2015. Since then, the station can only be received via satellite on pay TV. Italia 1 can also be received unencrypted via tivùsat, but a tivùsat card and an Italian tax number are required to activate the tivùsat card. Unlike other pay-TV subscriptions, tivùsat only incurs one-time costs for the tivùsat card. The card is then valid indefinitely.

The media group Mediaset, founded by former Italian prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, explained the move with licensing problems. Due to increased prices for TV and sports rights, the channels do not have the rights for Europe-wide broadcasting, so the media group has stopped the unencrypted distribution of the channels.
